The Marpole Business Association is very pleased to present the ninth annual Chinese Lion Dance Tour of Marpole. This event will be held in celebration of the Chinese New Year of the Dog on Thursday, February 22nd, 2018 beginning at 11:00 AM on Granville Street between 63rd & 71st Avenues.
The Lion will follow a winding route along Granville Street from north to south, stopping to perform its blessing ritual at participating merchants. The Chinese Lion Tour will be a thrilling display of dance and music, ringing in New Year blessings and good luck for everyone in the Marpole community.
