The Marpole BIA is pleased to congratulate Michael Lee, as the newly elected MLA for Vancouver-Langara.
Michael will be representing this constituency, which includes most of the Marpole community, in Victoria.
Michael Lee is the BC Liberal MLA for Vancouver-Langara. A graduate of the University of Victoria law school, Lee is a partner with Lawson Lundell LLP, a leading Canadian business law firm based in Vancouver.
He is also a board member with the YMCA of Greater Vancouver Foundation, and past chair of Arts Umbrella and UBC’s alumni board. Lee has also served his community through his work with Science World, SUCCESS and the Justice Education Society of BC.
A son of Hong Kong immigrants, Lee was born and raised in Vancouver, where he currently lives with his wife Christina. Together they have three young adult children. Michael is excited to continue his service to the community, in the political realm at the provincial level.
