Granville Street roadwork to tackle sewer and sidewalk rehabilitation
Sewer upgrades on Granville Street
The work will begin this weekend – starting at 8 PM on Friday, September 26th – with sewer upgrade work on Granville Street between West 59th and 64th Avenues.
The City’s contractor will begin installing a sewer manhole at the intersection of W 64th Avenue and Granville Street starting Friday, September 26the at 8:00 PM. Work will continue around the clock through 5:00 AM on Monday, September 29th.
Following this, weekday construction (Monday to Friday) will take place only at night, between 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM. The contractor will distribute letters in the coming days to provide the community with more details about the upcoming construction.

Sidewalk Rehabilitation
The long-awaited sidewalk rehabilitation project will begin in mid-October. This work will involve fixing and replacing the damaged and heaving sidewalks between W 63rd and W 64th Avenues with new concrete sidewalks.
